The final round of the home and away series is here, with a local derby hit out with our neighbours Muswellbrook.
Womens and Plate will be heading up the New England Highway and our Cup team will sit out with the bye.
This game could not be more important for our women. We need to win to secure a finals position. Winning will take the pressure off other round results in the fight for 6th and 7th. The Roosterettes have been fine tuning at training and morale is high after knocking the comp leaders off last week.
There will be more than four points on the line for our Plate team. Although we are out of finals contention we will give everything to defend the highly sought Nathan Duncan Memorial Shield.
Donated by David Howard , the shield brings us together to remember Nathan who sadly passed away whilst playing backyard football. Nathan played his junior football for the Roosters before joining the Muswellbrook Cats.
Muswellbrook will also be celebrating Old Boys day and invite all past players, official and supporters to come along and celebrate a great day.
