Singleton Roosters senior president Dylan Hixon has revealed his senior and junior players will welcome a new addition to the Chook nest in 2023.
The AFL Hunter Central Coast club has unveiled a new set of goal post pads thanks to a Glencore community grant.
“We want to thank Glencore for our beautiful new goal post pads,” Hixon explained.
“They will definitely come in handy for this year and the years to come.”
The season will commence on Saturday, April 1 while the Roosters will play host to the Muswellbrook Cats for a pre-season trial match on Saturday, March 25.
That same day the women’s side will play host to Muswellbrook, Port Stephens, Maitland and Gunnedah.
